1. Design and development of device drivers for SCSI and ATA storage devices under the iRMX operating system, based on PCI and ISA buses. Created mechanisms of requests redundancy (in order to support disk mirroring), ordered seek queuing, interrupt sharing.
2. Writing offline RMX utilities for disk maintenance, providing fast disk copying, low– and high-level RMX format, physical and logical disk verification, SCSI bus scanning.
3. Performed implementation of SCSI devices fault management system onsite with international customers.
4. Design of the manager application for embedded system, based on PowerQUICC (Motorola 860). This application is responsible for interface between different components of the system: host, PCI bridge, DSP processors and CT Bus matrix (H.100), dynamic resource allocation, data and signaling streams management. The work on this project included choice of operating system and evaluation tools, and development of the board support package.
