STM32L programming of portable device

Needed help with programming a microcontroller for low power applications.
Knowledge of STM32 microcontrollers - must (preferably STM32L0).
Ability to reduce power consumption of microcontroller.
Code base already exists, only need help with optimization and specific code snippets.
