Extensive experience in financial modelling, Business Plan modelling, Financial Due Diligence, Corporate finance and private equity investments.

Originally from France I hold a MBA from top tier Business School ESSEC (Paris / Cergy), formerly an investment associate in small caps private equity, I have over 4 years of experience in M&A financial due diligence at PwC and have built business plans and advised several entrepreneurs in Europe and Australia.

I have also worked for 9 months on a side project to build a start-up in the wellbeing industry and I have recently worked as an investment associate in a newly created For Purpose social investment vehicle supporting OZHarvest, Australia's leading food rescue charity.

I have recently completed a full time Data Scientist training where I learnt how to leverage my business analysis skills using Machine learning and deep learning techniques using Python and SQL. This allows me to go deeper in my understanding of businesses and dig up valuable insights from big datasets.

Sourcing new sellers of SAAS companies that fit HoriZen's investment thesis
Conducting business audits, analysis and valuations including analysis of competitor market positioning and research and analysis on industries and markets
Preparing listing package and ‘go to market’ strategy when HoriZen acts as a broker
Facilitating communication and negotiation between buyer/firm and sellers
Coordinating legal agreements, escrow setup and assets transfer

As part of the M&A Transaction Service at PwC, in the Paris (3 years) and then the Sydney (2 years) office, I have been working on a full scope of financial due diligence and have developed extensive skills in the following areas
Building a broad range of Excel models to help and support due diligences, analyses and assessment of forecast
Building comprehensive full financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, forecasts) based on Targets trial balances
Conducting comprehensive commercial and financial analysis of $10m to $200m turnover companies in a broad range of industries.
Understanding profitability drivers, margin sensitivity, conducting commercial analyses, understanding financial impact of investment policy and net working capital management
Assessing current state of pipeline and backlog and forming professional opinion on detailed forecast provided by targets
Summarising complex ideas and findings into a well structured due diligence report meeting PwC high standards

The Isatis Capital team is made of Private Equity investment professionals with an entrepreneur mindset. I was proudly part of the journey when the team decided to spin off from BNP Paribas Private Equity and become a successful independent PE firm which is still growing to this day.
In this exciting, deal intensive time I have worked extensively on excel modelling, from modelling capital raise mechanisms to multi-scenarios LBO structures to complex exit proceeds schemes to complete 5 year projection models.
Investment targets were innovative firms with revenue between 5M€ and 100M€ and I also supported investment directors on a daily basis by conducting extensive market research, financial and commercial analyses of potential targets and writing investment memorandum to be presented to Isatis Board of directors. On top of these tasks, I was involved in strategic discussions with entrepreneurs, lawyers and auditors and provided assistance in the execution of the deals.
