I am a Senior professional with more than 25 years in the Procurement and Supply Chain domain.

I have experience of more than 5 years as the Head of Purchasing – Africa, India & Middle East, Chennai/Gurgaon in India with Michelin Group having previously served as Purchasing Category Manager in Shanghai and Bangkok on Procurement Category Manager Roles for APAC region working in a Network with our Headquarters in France. I have also served as the Head of Imports including Purchase, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Custom clearances, Export import benefits management and liasoning with Customs and DGFT.

I have diverse experience in all domains of Procurement including all Categories of Direct and Indirect Purchases. The Direct Purchases include Raw materials, Commodities, Petrochemicals and Chemicals whereas the Indirect Purchases include Capital Equipment, Spare parts, Logistics, Facility Management, HR Recruitment, Training and Benefits, Travel, Marketing and Communications as well as Outsourcing.

I have set up the Purchasing and Procurement Organization for Michelin in the Africa India and Middle East Region including recruitment, training, mentoring and development of my team as well putting place the Purchase to pay process as the owner and Zone Director.
