Customised Wordpress Theme, built on Wordpress MU - for creating Student Portfolio sites

*_Blog:_*
Blog page needs two special features:
- RSS reader on the sidebar in the Blog - one that only the WPMU admin can control what Feeds it reads and displays. (+has same colour-scheme and design)
- Facebook Connect, commenting plugin for WP

*_Domains_:*
- each blog needs to have the possibility of having its own domain - if the blogger chooses to invest in a domain name. It is not needed that they buy through our site. We will buy it for them, connect it, map it and hand it over. If after a year they don't want to renew, they lose the domain and it reverts to the subdmain.domain.org address.

*_Customisation_*:
For each sub-domain we want to use (and customise) the Widescreen Theme

On the instructions file of the Theme it explains that if you are going to customise the Theme you should create a Child theme. It links to this page:

Have a look at that before you start...

- only the Admin should be able to edit any Theme code. Individual blog owners may not alter any code of the Theme. They should be able to add/subtract any language if they choose not to write in a specific language.

- in the Home page Nav column I want to be able to add a hyperlink to an external website page (more data on request and screenshots)

- all mentions of "powered by", "design by" or any other hyperlink needs to be changed


_Dashboard:_ needs a setting so that the default language of the dashboard can be changed. This maybe already part of Qtranslate, but I just can't find it.
What is needed is that when we set up a site ogs in with his login and pass, it is automatically Hebrew, and English
It has been a while since we installed the WPMU & qTranslate and it is possible that there are updated .mo files for these three languages. These would need to be updated too.


Additionally: Thumbnail creator. The Widescreen documentation mentions to use this plugin for creating ThumbnailsTheme

Contact Form: Simple contact for plugin. The Contact form should send an email to the blogsite owner.

Openinviter: each site owner needs to be able to upload his email address book using Openinviter. When a user uses it we need a copy in CSV of that list of emails.
