ABOUT
I have been in the industry for more than 19 years and for the past 12 years I have been working and living in Israel which has become the second largest ‘startup’ capital in the world. Here I have been at the forefront of the latest technology developments in the market. My work has also taken me to San Francisco, LA, New York and UK London. I generally work as a high-level Creative Director or Manager, Head of UX and Product, senior Product/Brand Manager and Head of Content and Creative.
Some of the job specifications I handle are taking on brands and products at all stages, managing them and handling of full product architecture and conceptual PRD outlines for delivery and execution. I have also successfully re-shaped and re-branded existing products.
My Strengths are in Web and Mobile, UX/UI, Brand and logo design, Game Design, Flash and After Effects.

Information Architecture, Interaction Design, User Interface and User Experience
I have been fortunate to be part of the beginnings of IA/UI/UX taxonomy. This is often confused with layout design or template structures – simply the way a site or device should work, as opposed to the architecture built for the way in which the experience should be driven from the end-user side of the product. This focuses on a deep understanding of users, what they need, what they value, their abilities, and also their limitations.
Through my experience in start-up companies collaborating with great design and development teams, I have taken products such as Video, Web, Mobile and Tablets from their initial conceptual stage through to full production and then into the marketplace where the fun begins in shaping the product for the end user.
I truly believe a great product is a collaborative effort of development, UI/UX, and design.
From the beginning, I am always involved with a conceptual outline, product needs and information architecture, which focuses on organizing, structuring, and labeling content in an effective and sustainable way. The goal is to help users find information and complete tasks. To do this, you need to understand how the pieces fit together to create the larger picture and how items relate to each other within the system. With all of the above, we can create the first stage of wireframes, product storyboard and mind map.
In the second stage, with a basic understanding of the demographics, we will want to establish the user requirements – which can include navigational considerations, site size/speed, breadth and more. Once we have this in place, we can start with creating the user interface design, anticipating what users might need to do and ensuring that the interface has elements that are easy to access, understand and use in order to facilitate those actions. UI brings together concepts from interaction design, visual design, and information architecture.
While the wireframing process is being defined, the design direction, and look and feel are being created in parallel to assure we meet the agreed deadline.
In the third stage, we focus on the user experience (UX), which comes with having a detailed and deep understanding of users: what they need, what they value, their abilities, and also their limitations. It also takes into account the business goals and objectives of the group managing the project. UX best practices promote improving the quality of the user’s interaction with and perceptions of your product and any related services.
In the fourth stage, with the designs tweaked and a few rounds of quality reviews with the relevant parties, the development, and the design are brought together into a cohesive whole. The final design is approved and implemented to the site’s information architecture. QA testing can begin before launching and going into the live stage.
While previous experience in UX creates the framework for the initial design, most of the true shaping of UX is done live. I have been involved in many different techniques to fine-tune the UX of sites or devices. One quite often used is to create three different versions of the site with different UI, for example, simple layout changes or color schemes. It is advisable to purchase traffics for each direction and use A/B testing to fine-tune your product.
A/B testing is a simple way to test changes to your page against the current design and determine which ones produce positive results. It is a method to validate that any new design or change to an element on your webpage is improving your conversion rate before you make that change to your site code.
Testing takes the guesswork out of website optimization and enables data-backed decisions that shift business conversations from “we think” to “we know”. By measuring the impact that changes have on your metrics, such as sign-ups, downloads, purchases, or whatever else your goals may be, you can ensure that every change produces positive results. Quantitative data speaks for itself. You may have experience in how site visitors will respond to certain design elements, but A/B testing allows you to show visitors two versions of the same page and allow them to determine the winner. Constantly testing and optimizing your page can increase revenue, leads, registrations, downloads, and user-generated content, while providing teams with valuable insight about their visitors.
