Human realistic project
We are generating high resolution 3D face models in PLY format. This format is a mesh with
color for each triangle. Our raw data is a point cloud that is much higher resolution than the
PLY. Today we are working on our web based viewer and we would like to present these 3D
models of faces in a way that they will look realistic and not synthetic. This is what people try to
do today for Video games and movies where they want to create 3D models of real people. Our
goal is to get something like this, this is a 2D image of a 3D model presented using a 3D viewer.

capture of our 3D model looks.
This project is divided into two main tasks
1. Create texture maps from our high resolution 3D information
2. Create a web base 3D viewer with shaders and the right illumination to present the 3D
model in a realistic manner.
