In short words this what we have at the moment, we have a scaraping software written in Python that handles all merchants. It downloads automatically CSVs from Shareasale then it scrapes the merchants' websites to complete the missing information. The main problem is that it's hard to maintain the whole system to be working properly by a single person.
We also have 2 servers setup for the database and a Magento installition, both configured for high product load and high performance. We use FireBear software for fast importing into the Magento database.
