Multi-platform app development ipad/iphone/android/web with 3D and ecommerce

Seeking expression of interest by qualified companies or freelancers to participate in a project to build a great new multi-platform app.

We need to create an app which allows users to select from a menu of objects and build a product using all the power and fun that the ipad/itouch/android offers. Think of this as virtual lego where you have a selection of blocks in different categories that you can select to 'build' your product. You can then spin it around in 3D, customise it by coloring it in or adding text, or pasting an uploaded picture (or a pic taken with the devices camera).

Continuing the lego theme, there would be some rules that define which blocks can fit together and which cannot.

We would also like to use augmented reality by allowing a live picture of a person taken by the device to 'hold the item'.

Once the app has been installed, it can be worked when not connected to the web, but when the device is online and the app is open, the categories and blocks can be updated remotely with new 'offerings'.

The apps are going to be fun, immersive and will let people build and play, but ultimately, we want them to click on a button to allow them buy the product. We will be promoting purchases by sending out coupons and promotions using social media and other online marketing tools.

The app should be build for the iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch and for Android taking advantage of gestures, integrated cameras and other mobile features, but a corresponding web app should also work just as well.

A functional spec is currently being written and I am looking for a technical team who I can work it to translate the functional requirements into a design spec. I am also looking for some suggestions of a budget for this project. This budget does not in any way bind any party but is just a way of ensuring that the project is adequately financed.

Project start is expected to be within 4 weeks.
