N-SIP Ltd.
Since 2008 I'm writing a mVoIP client which is now ready to go to the market. The company has a SIP client, running on a Symbian smart-phone. It includes a propriety SIP stack, network modulo and real time duplex audio streaming. It integrates with standards SIP servers and has many features which involves, UI, socket programming, graphics and IPC. The client is written in C and C++. The project has about 180 files and 22,000 lines of code.
2007-2008 Mobile-Max Ltd.
Working independently on a VoIP project. The project was a client-server one and where the server was written in C on a UNIX machine and the client was written in C++, developed on windows and ran on a Symbian smart-phone. The project target was to enable SIP to PSTN conversations. It included network programming and real time duplex audio streaming.
2005 – 2007 V-TU Ltd. ( www.v-tu.com )
In 2005 I have founded V-TU and implementing its basic technology. After raising money I worked as a CTO and a small team leader. Most of the programming was done in C++ on Symbian/S60. I developed a series of software modulus to control voice and Bluetooth connectivity. Those modulus was real-time, multi-threaded and used for three products.
The main product is a “Skype” like SIP client enabling high quality voice conversation over IP and a Bluetooth application running on window, giving the client access to the IP world. The client includes low level programming for audio control, multi-threading and communication and Bluetooth.
Another product was a joint venture with a hardware company. The combination of my program and the other company’s hardware enable us to use the Bezek line from the cellular device. In that project I got a lot of integration experience.
2002 – 2005 Outsourcing/Independent consultant (Symbian OS, J2ME)
Worked as an Independent consultant, at various companies and startups such as Texas-Instruments, Performed the following tasks:
Developed a VoLAN application, enabling voice conversation over the office LAN (C++ )
Implemented a Wireless LAN simulation of TI’s 802.11 chip and protocol (Written in C++).
Developed an LBS messenger for smart-phones, written in J2ME.
2001 – 2002 Sky Map
Sky-Map developed an on-line map application running over iPAQ (WinCE), written in JAVA. My main task was to modify the application/add components such read-ahead mechanism, building an HTTP version (it was originally TCP) and adding GUI capabilities.
