My curiosity about human experience has been at the center of my work throughout my career.

Why do we do what we do? Why do we think the way we think? How is our behavior shaped by the larger context of our environment?

Before pursuing my career in UX research and design, I spent 5 years as a psychotherapist. One of the most valuable lessons I learned was the importance of empathy in uncovering people’s core (and sometimes unvoiced) needs, motivations and behaviors.

Now, as a UX researcher and strategist, I take my ability to empathize and understand what makes us tick and apply it to the design process. And I love it. Solving problems and creating solutions through research and analysis is exciting to me, especially when I can apply those skills to projects focused on social impact and innovation.
