Applied Machine Learning Scientist
For more than twenty five years I have been teaching Operations Research, Probability and Statistics and Mathematics in colleges of higher education, with many positive feedbacks from both students and colleagues. Over the last few years I participated in online courses in computer programming and data science, and began to specialise in machine learning. After completing the courses with distinction, I began to participate in machine learning competitions and published reports on RPubs detailing my strategies in several competitions, including reproducible code. During the last year I worked on freelance data science projects for a web retailer which culminated in machine learning models to be integrated in an automatic repricer. I recently taught a machine learning course as part of a certification program in the field of algorithmic trading and lectured on this topic at a conference held at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. I am also presently invovled in applying machine learning in a project in this field.
I am excited to be involved in a field which is developing rapidly and requires continuous study and application of new skills. I enjoy both working independently and as part of a team and am looking for an opportunity to combine skills I acquired over the years to make the future happen now.
