I have written two books:

Love, Death and A Chinese Train: A historical novel that takes the reader on a journey into China's past, through the eyes of a woman who survives personal tragedies amidst the turmoil and romance of 1930s Peking and Shanghai.

Flying Fish and Kangaroo: Worldly Ways to Get Your Kid to Eat Absolutely Anything: My two children and I set out to eat every cuisine in the world eating such things as flying fish, kangaroo, caterpillars and much more.

As Deputy Editing Manager of BeijingKids Magazine I was responsible for editing articles written by our columnists and freelancers. I also had to sign off on proofs and assisted with corrections.

Completed two advanced writing courses, which involved writing, proofreading, and editing, as well as critiquing other writer's work.

I created my own blog called Eat Planet. Discover the World. www.eatplanet.blogspot.com. I wrote about the experiences my children and I had eating and cooking food from around the world. My blog won second place in the 2010 Canadian Blog Awards in the category of Food/Arts and Crafts.

While I was Deputy Editing Manager at BeijingKid Magazine I wrote for their blog at least three times a week.

I worked as the Deputy Editing Manager for BeijingKids Magazine in Beijing, China. I oversaw the strategic direction of the magazine, including the website. I wrote feature articles for the magazine, and I edited contributing articles from columnists and freelancers. I signed off on proofs and assisted on corrections. I also wrote articles for the magazine's website several times a week.

I wrote articles for TravelingMom.com On-Line Magazine. The target audience of the website was mothers who worked.

I created my own blog called Eat Planet. Discover the World. I wrote about eating foods from all over the world, while having your children share in it as well.
