With my experience in several disciplines, I am able to give high quality and cost effective design and development services.

Over the past 14 years, I have been designing and developing medical consumer products for Intercure Ltd, where I currently hold a position as research and development manager. Now, I am also available to provide research and development services independently.

Over the years, I have developed different products involving PC software, embedded systems and computerized production line environment. I have set up production lines both in Israel and China. In addition, I am familiar with all ISO requirements for all processes in a company involved in design, development and external turnkey production of electronic equipment.

I am associated with Mishor electronics giving mechanical design, engineering and transfer to production services in Israel and China.

I am associated with Studio Shacham giving industrial design services.

Professional experience
Intercure – 1998 until today, www.intercure.com
The company develops consumer medical device, especially for treating high blood pressure. The company went public on the summer of 2007, on the TLV stock market. At that time, there were 15 employees at Intercure Israel. (The American branch deals only with marketing and help desk). Today there are 5 employees. Over the years, the company sold 10s of thousands of consumer medical devices, at high quality and ever reducing cost.
Intercure – Manager of R&D – 2005 until today
While managing the R&D operation, I have developed hardware, firmware, and PC software. I have recruited and managed an electronic engineer and QA engineer. I have set up a production line in China for the newest product with all the technical tools required. I am also responsible for passing external ISO R&D audits, each year.
I have designed systems with different technologies (Electronics, Mechanics, Software, Database etc.). I have worked with different sub-contractors and consultants (Mechanics, QA, reliability, user interface, layout, components engineering, prototyping etc.)
Intercure – RT Embedded systems engineer – 1998 to 2005
Over this time I was a single engineer who worked under the R&D manager for several years, then on my own for several years. I was solo responsible for hardware, software, firmware, QA, documentation and production tools. My experience covers:
• Vast experience in real time micro-controller based systems. The microcontrollers were of different companies: TEXAS, MICROCHIP, NATIONAL, CYPRESS, and MITSUBISHI.
• The systems included hardware of different technologies: AUDIO, USB, GRAPHIC DISPLAY, POWER, MEMORY, MODEM, RF, INFRA RED, LOGIC, OP-AMPS and more.
• The systems included firmware in C, Assembler and PC software for communication with the systems for different purposes such as real time debug and monitor, algorithms evaluation data transfer etc.
• I was involved in research and development of different patented algorithms and wrote research and simulation software for PC. The languages I have used are C, C++ and VB. I have mostly used the CUILDER environment.
• The user interface was a very important aspect of the systems. I have gain a lot of experience in user interface considerations.
• I have developed prototypes based on POCKET PC and SMARTPHONE with eVB and eVC++.
• I have defined, developed and integrated automatic test systems and tools. The systems included PC software, electronics, mechanics (motors and actuators), SQL and more.
• I have designed and developed wireless systems based on 2.4G Chipcon, with proprietary communication protocol.
• I have designed and developed a large amount of prototypes through all the phases. Most of the prototype did not become a product, so they are not found on the company internet site.
