Steel Structure Detailing Freelancer Needed

We are looking for a skilled freelancer for steel structure detailing projects. The role involves creating detailed technical drawings and plans for steel construction projects.

Main responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed steel structure drawings and plans
• Create connection details and assembly drawings
• Develop fabrication drawings and shop drawings
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and codes
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers
• Review and modify existing drawings as needed

Required qualifications and skills:
• Proven experience in steel structure detailing
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and steel detailing software
• Knowledge of Tekla Structures or similar 3D modeling software
• Understanding of steel construction methods and standards
• Familiarity with welding symbols and connection types
• Ability to read and interpret structural engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills for project coordination
• Experience with industry codes and standards (AISC, AWS)
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
