PORTAL 11-2013 – Simple managing of gifts and affiliates

Project language: English with support of presenting Hebrew texts
Environment: ASP.NET 2 (VS 2005) C# with MDB (2000 TO 2007) database

Detailed and remarks
1. The main propose of this module is to manage the entitlement of users to get gift ONLY once
a. The module should verify if a user has already got into the form of "show that I am entitled to get gift" so it won't let him present this form again.
2. The flow:
a. There will be "welcome" form for users that want to implement their entitlement to get gift
i. The user will enter his user name and password as entered in other already exist module of registration to personal links. The correct code will verify the data from the other DB
b. The module will generate random number called randomForEmailVerify
c. The user will be notified that his will be checked for entitlement to get gift and he will get email of that
d. The code will check
i. If that user has already got gift by checking the field HasTheUserAlreadyPresentedTheGiftPage.
1. If that bool is true , then the code will notify the user that "according to our records, the present was already been given to that user"
2. If false – the code will send mail with link to the entitlementToGetGift aspx form with the parameters in line
a. UserId

e. After the user got the email that tell him that he has entitlement To Get Gift the user supposed to press on that link to show the form that the affiliate representative should see for supplying the gift
i. The user press the link
ii. The code in entitlementToGetGift is running and
1. The code verify (by incoming parameters)
a. The correctness of the randomForEmailVerify number for that userId
b. If that user hasn't got the present before
2. If code found something incorrect or that the user is not entitlement To Get Gift he will notify the user on that
3. If all checks are correct the code:
a. Will mark that the user has got gift by the setting to HasTheUserAlreadyPresentedTheGiftPage and the date field there
b. Will transfer to the form that will
i. present the graphic file of the gift to prove the entitlement
ii. will have auto expiration based on the value in DB at : AfterHowManySecondsWillTheGiftFormExpire field ,so after that the form will redirect to the portal main page.
3. The portal is programmed in a way that
a. The texts are taken from already built module who returns the correct string in the current language used. The programmer must continue use that module.
i. No texts to present to the users will be inCode , all new texts will be taken from the DB
ii. You can add any missing phrase to the language MDB when needed
