Redesign of Cost-Optimized Plastic Components for Milkit Milk Dispensing System
Project Description:
We are seeking an experienced product designer or plastic engineer to redesign the plastic components of our Milkit milk dispensing system. The goal is to optimize the design for injection molding, ensuring cost-efficient production while maintaining functionality and durability.

Key Responsibilities:

Redesign existing plastic components to achieve a production cost target of $15 per unit for high-volume manufacturing (thousands of units).
Develop injection molding-ready designs, including creating molds suitable for mass production.
Deliver prototypes for validation and testing to ensure functional, aesthetic, and structural requirements are met.
Work closely with our team to ensure alignment with overall system requirements.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in plastic part design for injection molding, preferably in the food and beverage sector or other high-demand environments. A strong understanding of cost optimization and manufacturing constraints is essential.

Proposals should include:

Cost breakdown for each phase of the project.
Estimated timelines for design, prototyping, and mold development.
Examples of similar projects or relevant experience.
