Senior AI (LLM) Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior AI Software Engineer to join our innovative AI startup, 100% job capacity for long term consultation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on artificial intelligence and a passion for staying at the forefront of AI research and development.

Responsibilities:
Read and analyze the latest AI research papers, for example "DPO: Your Language Model is Secretly a Reward Model," and determine their applicability to our production product.
Develop and implement Python scripts using frameworks like the TRL and accelerate.
Design custom data processing and Identify and resolve performance issues in AI implementations
Contribute to open-source projects by creating git pull requests to maintainers
Integrate AI training scripts into our AWS SageMaker-based CI/CD build pipeline to automate the training of LLM language models for customer use
Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging AI approaches from Arxiv papers and other sources, selecting the most appropriate techniques for our production environment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of AI models
Proficiency in data loading, cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering using Pandas, NumPy, or PyTorch Datasets, ensuring high-quality data preparation for machine learning and AI tasks
Familiarity with text data preprocessing, including tokenization, normalization, and encoding techniques for natural language processing tasks

Requirements:
MS in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong expertise in AI technologies such as Python, PyTorch, HF Transformers.
Ability to read, understand, and implement concepts from AI research papers.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
In-depth knowledge of AI hardware and optimization techniques such as multi-GPU training
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AWS SageMaker or similar cloud-based AI platforms.
Active participation in the open-source software community, with a track record of contributions
PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
Proven experience in developing and deploying AI models in a production environment.
Contributions to well-known AI open-source projects.
Authorship of AI research papers or blog posts.
