Job Summary

We’re seeking a highly-experienced hands-on Java backend team leader to join our growing R&D team to manage the backend/data team
Lead by example a team of highly skilled backend developers using state of the art technologies and help design and build the next generation of our (big) data oriented cloud application running on a massive (thousands of instances) cloud deployment. Be in charge of the architecture, development, task scheduling and mentoring.

Our technology stack includes all the latest Java, Python, Spark, Cassandra, Storm AWS, multiple NoSQL and SQL storage solutions, various messaging backbones (RabbitMQ , Kafka), Git, Jenkins and many more.

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in leading a development team (4+ employees) - MUST
• 5+ years of experience in Server-Side application development using Java - MUST
• Experience with highly scalable Cloud distributed Systems
• Experience with Big Data tools and frameworks
• Experience with data stream processing tools (Storm , Spark) – big advantage
• Good knowledge of Linux
• Experience with NoSQL (such as Redis , ElasticSearch , Cassandra , MongoDB etc.)
• Experience with distributed messaging brokers (such as Kafka , RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Experience with Cloud-based services (AWS) – advantage
• Python - advantage
• Fast learner
• Team player
